Getting a commissioned work done is the best way to get a painting which suits the particular size, colour scheme and subject matter you are after.

Requirements:

Before starting a commissioned painting I require the following:

1. A discussion (either a meeting, phone call or email) to grasp the specifications you require. This includes size, colour scheme and materials (stretched canvas or linen)
2. A clear and in focus picture or photograph (no smaller than 4 x 6 inches)
3. A 25 percent deposit to cover materials needed
4. Any other requirements you may have.

Cost:

The cost of a commissioned work ranges from $250 (for an 20 x 24 inch or smaller) to $500 plus (for an 30 x 40 inch size or larger). It also depends on the complexity and amount of time needed to spend on the painting. A 25 percent deposit is required to cover the cost of materials. I am able to provide an exact quote once we have established your exact requirements.

Quality:

All of my paintings are painted with high quality artist acrylic paint, brushes and stretched canvas or linen. They are also covered with a UV Resistant protective coating, so if looked after well your painting will last many years to come.

Results:

Once I have received the above requirements I am able to start your painting. A work will usually take me between one and four weeks to complete (depending on size and complexity). When completed, I will provide you with some professional photos of the painting. Once satisfied with the finished work, and the final payment is received, I will either courier the painting to your address or deliver to you myself.

Looking after your Painting:

To care for your painting try to keep out of direct sunlight or direct artificial light as much as possible, as over time this made fade the painting. If dust settles on the work, use a clean cloth and dampen with water only to gently wipes down the sides of your painting.
